David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Acclaimed young adult author and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, the company has said.
An official for the firm said: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the conclusion was made after an review of claims about conduct deemed unsuitable towards women.
The company declined to specify the motivations for this action, adding: "We do not comment on internal matters."
