Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns several courses worldwide and frequently matches against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she mentioned.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just don't get nervous."
"He practically suggested to compete and have fun," she added.
"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's quite busy."
As an amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments recently and holds position 461 in AJGA rankings.
But she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with her mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He advised me to go out there, relax, adapting to whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to different demographics, especially with the next generation.
The young star boasts millions of followers and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
