Two Men Face Charges Over Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a substance thought to be capsaicin spray caused injuries at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A three-year-old girl was one of the people hurt during the incident. Several persons went to hospital for treatment and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – described by police as was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
